Here are some recent updates on stuff that's working and not working for my contractor clients.

Google Guaranteed ads have been kind of inconsistent. One flooring client is getting high-quality leads and closing lots of deals. But quality was low in certain months for another client, showing the importance of testing and tracking.

An HVAC client tried a unique Facebook ad angle - a video emphasizing upfront, transparent pricing rather than inflated quotes. This ad has driven several conversions already. It shows differentiated offers can resonate.

And finally, when buying leads, contact them over and over until they answer, and track everything One client bought leads but only contacted them once, skewing feedback. You need to fully pursue each lead.
