Eden Hazard has retired at just 32 years of age. A talent that doesn’t come by very often in a generation, you can’t help but feel that he was taken from the pitch far too early, but a career of riding punishing tackles has finally taken its toll. In fact, we hadn’t seen the real Eden Hazard for the past 4 years due to injuries compounding from his career.
But, Eden Hazard wasn’t just talented, but his approach to football was refreshing: he never took himself or the sport too seriously, he toed the line of playing football for fun, while also being an elite professional, and broke the mould in doing so.
