It's 2022, and North Queensland remnant wilderness is now at risk of clearance for numerous proposed industrial-scale wind farms: Chalumbin, Desailly, Upper Burdekin, Mount Fox, Mount James, High Road and more.

Threatened landscapes are high elevation, highly biodiverse and home to critically endangered species such as Koalas, Northern Greater Gliders, Magnificent Broodfrogs, Sharman's Rock-Wallabies and more. It is estimated that around 25,000 hectares along the Western side of the Great Dividing Range of NQ will be cleared if all proposals are successful.
