This 1937 Mercedes-Benz 230 N is one of approximately 963 examples built on the “Normal”-wheelbase variant of the W143 platform during a single year of production and is outfitted with Cabriolet A bodywork. Finished in red with black fenders, the car is powered by a 2,229cc L-head inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission.

Additional features include a single dual-throat Solex carburetor, independent suspension with a coil-sprung swing-axle rear and transverse front leaf springs, hydraulic drum brakes, dual side-mount spares, a black convertible top, and tan leather upholstery. The car spent time in Connecticut and Pennsylvania prior to the seller’s acquisition on BaT in April 2022, and subsequent service involved performing electrical repairs and replacing the radiator. This 230 N Cabriolet A is now offered with a recent service invoice and a clean title.
