In today’s video we will be looking at the 10 finger licking Cameroonian traditional meals that people who have never eaten, are missing. If you are out of Cameroon it is possible that you have never tasted any of this Cameroonian traditional delicacies.

Number 10: Sangah
Sangah is a Cameroonian specialty, a simple dish that is made with cassava leaves, palm oil and maize. Cassava leaves are pounded and mashed so the final dish looks like a cross between a stew and porridge.

Number 09: Esubag, Nzabegen and Mpub
This is the traditional meal of the Bakossi people, in the south west region of Cameroon. This meal isn’t widely known across the nation cause of its delicate way of preparation but I bet you anyone who gets a taste of this meal always demands for more.

Number 08: Mbongo’o Tchobi
It is a delicious black stew, typically eaten by the Bassa people of Cameroon. Its soothing yet spicy uniqueness has made it gain lots of popularity in other parts of the country. The key ingredient is the aromatic mbongo spice, from which the stew derives its name.

Number 07: Yam and Ndole
Ndole, an aromatic Cameroonian spinach stew made of spinash or more commonly bitter leaves. Carefully washed and sliced to eliminate most of the bitter taste and added to fresh groundnut paste. It’s flavored with garlic, Spring onions, crayfish, and fortified with shrimp and beef.
