My friends and I, we decided to challenge ourselves and hike to Garibaldi. It was a rewarding experience for all of us and I got to appreciate British Colombia a lot more than I used too. I guess everything is just so much more exciting and fun when you have active friends in your life.

When we went, there were lots of snow that made it difficult for us to complete the hike. There was snow even up to our hips closer to the end, so we had to walk on the thin layer of ice on the lake. Our time is pretty good considering that we had to use trails that were flooded or just covered in snow. I wasn't the one with the timer, but it said 5h48, was our moving time and our total time spend with breaks, lunch and so on was under 7 hours.

So thankful that they were willing to hike to Garibaldi Lakes which was part of my bucket list for awhile. A lot happened and maybe, if my friends haven't been there with me, I wouldn't have made it out alive. Keep watching to see what happens!
