During the 2024 1UP Conference, Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute pitched their projects to address a specific issue in their community for a chance to gain additional funding.

1UP Toronto Conference is a flagship event during March Break, bringing high school students and professionals to celebrate and incubate city-building ideas. It features guest speakers of diverse backgrounds to help students develop leadership, public speaking, and project management skills, Design-Build Pitches, and Design Jam Competition where students work together to tackle real-life urban challenges.
