Best sketchbooks for Tombow Dual Brush water based markers? I’ve been using these pens extensively the last month. It might be a little bit trickier but I’ve found good success laying down nice flat colors as well as gradients, something that has traditionally thought to only be the purview of alcohol markers. They’re definitely a lot more finicky but water-based markers can give you the effects you want. While, for the most part not bleeding through to the other side of the page. Paper type is really important.

All while basically using the same methods as with alcohol markers. It’s definitely trickier but is absolutely possible.
