I got this 1949 Chevy a few weeks ago from a salvage yard in Nebraska and was told it did run and yard drive at one point but without any videos of it running, I was going off of just word of mouth. This 216 inline 6cylinder wasn't stuck and turned over nice, so I assumed it would be any easy one to get running again. The 3 speed manual transmission also shifted nice, so I bought it and brought it back to Iowa. Will this old Chevy fire up again, or is it doomed to the junkyard forever?
