Welcome to summertime! School is out. Vacation is on. Head to the beach, the lake, wherever.

This is a fun jazz piece inspired by the wonderful music of Vince Guaraldi, creator of the Peanuts soundtracks. Guaraldi essentially developed his own jazz genre that I call "Peanuts Jazz", due to his unique sound that has become a hallmark of the Peanuts franchise over the last 60+ years. The sound has been carried on in recent years by artists such as David Benoit and George Winston.

This piece is also to celebrate the end of school and the start of the summer season. It is a time to relax, reflect, and enjoy some fun activities. Go for a swim. Play some baseball. Travel to faraway places.
