Chelsea Lehnea performed the title role of “Turandot” for the Opera Forever! concert performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The concert was commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the passing of Maestro Giacomo Puccini. - August 16, 2024

Puccini lifted the children’s chorus music from the Chinese folk tune of Mò Li Hūa 茉莉花. In this performance, the Chinese text replaced the Italian. It is easy to see why Puccini picked that tune for Turandot’s grand entrance.

Daniel Suk is conducting the Dream Orchestra and Opera Chorus of Los Angeles as well as the Yanwen Han Opera Studio from the China Conservatory of Music.
