Today was cooking for my African family and David de.he said my food was really good...

Lovers of traditional Kenyan Coastal Cuisine love the delicacy that is biryani. This beef biryani recipe is your passport to instant popularity Your culinary skills are bound to be a hit among friends and family. if you enjoy this kind of video,like,subscribe and share.

The Ingredients:
1kg beef
1 sachet of tomato paste
6 large onions
Tablespoon of ginger
1 big garlic
1 packet of maziwa mala
2 table spoon of pilau masala
Golden yellow food colour
cooking oil and salt.

The Rice
wash your rice until the water from the rice is clear. (I used 2 cups of rice for 5 people.)

The Beef Biryani(rojo).
1.prepare your beef(1kg) ,add tablespoon of fresh ginger and garlic paste
2.Add water to the beef level.boil the beef until.blood stops oozing from the meat.Do not cool the beef all the way because it will continue cooking the biryani sauce.
3.chop the 6 large onions
4.Heat some oil in a frying pan.when the oil starts smoking,add in your chopped onions.
5.Golden brown onions.
6.Heat 6 tablespoon of cooking oil.
7.Add 1 sachet of tomato paste
8.stir to blend the mixture
9.stir and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes
10.Add in your spices,teaspoon of pilau masala
11.Add salt to taste
12.stir and cook for few minutes covering with a lid because the sauce keeps splashing.You will know that the sauce is ready for the beef when the oil starts coming up.Pleasw make sure the sauce is well cooked before adding boiled meat.This is to make sure that the tomato sauce and the spices are well cooked.If the sauce starts sticking on the bottom of the cooking pot add some cooking oil and stir.
13.Add in the browned onions
14 Add in the drained boiled beef.Do not add the beef stock in the sauce.Keep it and use it for other recipes.
15.stir and add packet of maziwa mama or plain yoghurt.
16.stir from time to time to avoid sticking and burning and let the beef cook until very soft.Remember to keep the lid on while cooking.
17.End results of beef biryani.
