Some definitions of story terms I use in this video!

"The Spiral" Universe: The term for the characters, setting and lore residing in the OC universe that follow's Samos and co. "The spiral" is another
term for the universe itself or "all that is never-ending/all that is expanding". Spiral imagery and motifs find their way into every design aspect
of this OC universe. (Inspired by the way TLoZ: Wind Waker incorporates swirls into it's art style)

"The Tear" The Tear refers to the day that The Velkellor tore through a fraction of it's binds after thousands of years of captivity in it's own pocket dimension.
Though weak from eons of being able to feed off of nothing but itself, it had enough power to seep through to the planes of mortals long enough to drench the globe in
terror. It's thanks to Samos's predecessor, Azaria, that The Vellkellor wrenched itself away back into it's confines with a newly formed seal over it's prison.
However the damage a mere few hours of exposure of the weakened monster, has catastrophic consequences. A shadow of its former self stretched far and wide
spread wide, sowing seeds of plague, rot, and mass hysteria in every corner of the map it could snake itself into.
A glimmer of hope finally came nearly ten years later when the next phoenix was born, but that hope comes with an itch of fear worming holes into its core. Azaria's sacrifice
may have saved the world, but all it did was put a plaster on a wound that was continuing to fester on the inside.

The Velkellor: The Velkellor is an ever growing, ever consuming monster born thousands of years ago from the tainted heart of the first faerie mother with a distaste for
mortal-kind that deepened so horribly, it manifested itself into an amorphous, writhing mass of blackened god's blood, flesh and energy. The faerie mother first used it to carry
out her own plague upon mortals, but it soon overpowered and devoured her whole. It's a creature that's doomed itself to eat and to continue to eat everything it can
grip itself onto until the only thing it has left to consume is itself.
Only the presence of the newborn divine entity soon to be dubbed by humans as "the phoenix" and the celestial powers of the sun and moon
were just enough to confine it away into it's own dimension with nothing tangible but itself to attach to. Netted and constricted in celestial light that weakened it significantly
over the years. Remains of it's shadow still remain in the world, today. Beasts and demons taking shape where the Vellkellor raked it's claws through the land as it was ripped away
from the world of mortals. These Beasts are merely the spawn of The Vellkellor, but they are still considered to be tiered as the most dangerous of creatures.
