Here is our guide to cleaning your dry-waxed canvas bag!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Items you will need:
-2 brushes (one for dry cleaning, one for wet cleaning)
-Cloth
-Toothbrush (or canvas brush)
-Warm soapy water (clear soap)
-Trakke re-proofing spray

1) Start by wiping off any excess dirt from the bag BEFORE it is wet
2) Once all the dirt is wiped off use clear soap and warm soapy water to lather and clean the bag
3) Make sure to get into all the nooks and crannies, a toothbrush works well in those hard-to-reach spots
4) Once you are satisfied the bag is completely clean leave it to dry for at least 24 hours
5) Hold your Trakke reproofing spray around 3-5cm away from the bag and spray evenly all over. Don't worry about the white coating this will disappear when the bag is dry
6) Leave to fully dry for another 24 hours!

Remember to reproof your bag approximately every 9-12 months, and don't try running your bag over with a Landrover at home!
