Another great day railfanning in Kansas City! I started off my day racing to catch UP 1982, the Missouri Pacific on the KCS Pittsburg subdivision at Cleveland ,running as a trailing DPU on a short coal train. After it passed I was able to catch it again in Drexel! Next I went to KC Union Station and filmed non stop trains on the Marceline sub with plenty of BNSF and UP movements going through town. Not only were the trains constant, but so were the train meets! Amtraks Missouri River Runner was spotted rolling into the station while a UP coal train roared by. As it left towards Santa Fe Junction it met a EB BNSF V train. As the sun began to set I met up with a fellow railfan at Craig Missouri and got some great shots of the BNSF transcontinental railroad on the Emporia Subdivision at sunset! One of these catches was a WB Q train with two NS leaders. On my way home I was able to catch Amtrak 161 on the SW Chief #3 for the second time in one week! Overall it was a great day to be trackside railfanning the second largest railroad hub in the USA!
