It's great to have Empire Of The Sun back in action. An eight-year hiatus was a little too long for fans of
Emperor Steele and Lord Littlemore, and their new 'Changes' album will tickle the forever zealous EOTS audience. Especially because they're returning with all the grand ideas, provocative visuals, and cosmic philosophy they're known for. "The world is approaching a dangerous future, full of misinformation," the Aussie duo told us in our Footnotes interview. "We felt the need to create beacons of emotional truths. 'Changes' is such a pillar." The electro-pop outfit had director Michael Maxxis helm the title video. He says he wanted it to have a "transportive quality," citing Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, and Robert Zemeckis as auteurs who do this job well. Find out more in our Footnotes chat.
