A total of five US army tanks left over from World War II still sit in the forest of Werur Village, Esmambo Village, Bikar District, Tambrauw Regency, Southwest Papua. During World War II, American-led allied forces invaded Japan. At that time, Tambrauw served as a logistics distribution route to troop bases in Sorong, Raja Ampat and its surroundings.
