This is a demonstration of a simple script that I made to generate test-tones for audio measurements. I use it mainly for testing and calibrating taperecorders.
The script is a simple Bash-script in Linux, and it uses the SoX audio toolkit.

The screen will show 4 sections:
1. the script running in a Konsole
2. the output of a spectrum analyser using FFT (ARTA)
3. the measurement of a Philips true RMS dB meter
4. the output of the generated waveform on a scope.
