We have had a "raised deck" for a while now, but a deck in the middle of the woods is only marginally fun. The kids wanted a tree-house, not a deck, so it's time to start building the 10x10 room that will be the focal point of this project.

This was a super-hot late July day in Georgia, so there may be times where the heat is getting to us a bit, but we were all drinking lots of water and taking frequent breaks. I don't know if I mentioned that in the video, but that's an important part of working outside in the heat. Kids will sometimes not even realize that they need to drink plenty of fluids too, so you have to stay on top of that with them, as well as yourself.

Note - apologies for accidentally switching to a different video layout during this episode. We were hot and I apparently forgot how to hold a camera properly! :)
