When assessing a respiratory patient, there are certain criteria for when CPAP is indicated and contraindicated. I go over what CPAP and PEEP are and how it works when you start CPAP treatment with your patient.

By the end of the video, you will become more confident in your CPAP use as an EMT provider or Paramedic provider in the ambulance service. You will also recognize in test questions when other oxygen devices have failed and CPAP is the next best step.
