Arizona officially joined the United States as a state on Feb. 14, 1912. But the journey to statehood was one of the longest of all the states in the union.

Historian Jaynie Adams of the Arizona Historical Society traces the long and winding path to Arizona's statehood on the 110th anniversary of State 48 making it into the Union!
