Welcome back to our channel! Many of you have asked whether big firms recruit from "previously disadvantaged universities". I believe that Bright Tibane's story answers this question.

Bright Tibane is a newly promoted equity partner at Bowmans. Bright, as he often describes himself, is a village boy from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga. He matriculated from Mhlangana Secondary School in Limpopo and completed his LLB from the University of Limpopo and his LLM at Wits University.

In 2012, Bright started his journey as a candidate attorney and quickly moved up the ranks to partner within 9 years.
