Definitely recommend this if you are just getting started in woodworking and DIY, and if you are trying to save a bit of money in getting started. You aren't going to short yourself on many features by going this route, and in fact even if you have an M1 or M2 setup already there is still value in owning a smaller more portable jig like this one for unique and special applications.
