Dr. Hiranandani's incredible journey from textiles to real estate. After closing his textile unit due to union wage demands, he boldly ventured into real estate at a time when the industry was perceived as corrupt. His early work in Mumbai's western suburbs in the mid-eighties laid the foundation for a landmark career. His big break came with a large township in Powai. It had cutting-edge infrastructure, including recycled water systems, and modern facilities. These were for commercial, residential, and educational use.

Today, the Hiranandani Group is known for its high-tech, mixed-use townships. They are recognized across India.
