Learn how to set up and integrate a volume of revolution using the disk method with these easy to follow steps. We will revolve an area around the x-axis in the first example using disks, and a volume of revolution around the y-axis using the disk method. In both examples, we will revolve a region bounded by y=x^2 and an axis. Solids of revolution with the disk method can be easy to solve with these steps.
