A Girl From Limonad is one of Fleischer’s earliest compositions. Written in 1977, it reflects her dedicated search for an individual musical language, and is based on an Arabic poem of the same name by Lebanese poet Shawai Abi-Shaqra.
This piece was performed at the LAJS "A Feast for the Senses East Meets West" concert at The Ford Theatre on July 15, 2007.
