What's up YouTube! In this video we demonstrate how to change the C4 Transmission Filter and Fluid on a 1966 Ford Mustang. This procedure applies to Mustang's produced between 1965 and 1969.

Our friend Andy own's this beautifully restored 1966 Mustang and we will be shooting many more videos with this car. The process to change the fluid and filter on the C4 transmission is very simple and straight forward as you will see.

When to Change Fluid and Filter

Every 30,000 miles or every three years. It is also recommended that you perform a band adjustment at the same time which we did not cover in this video.
