I spent an afternoon and evening on the River Trent barbel fishing, during a session of mixed fortunes. I caught several double figure barbel up to just under 13lbs. The river was rising fast after heavy rain. I had to move swims to improve my catch also a fabulous sunset. Patric Kyte.
