In this video, I, Celestine Ndinda of Cele's Reflection, am having a conversation with a guest husband and co-host, Mr. Timothy, about dating and marriage.

We start the conversation by discussing how things can change between dating and marriage, and how men are especially likely to change. Mr. Timothy disagrees, saying that people don’t necessarily change, but rather reveal their true selves once they are comfortable. I offer the counterpoint that people sometimes hide their true selves while dating in order to appear more attractive.

The conversation continues with Mr. Timothy and I offering our perspectives on why people might change after marriage. I suggest that people may become less interested in putting in effort once they are married. Mr. Timothy argues that people accumulate responsibilities over time, which can lead to changes in behavior.

We also discuss the importance of communication in relationships. We agree that couples should be honest with each other about their expectations from the beginning.
