This was not a gently sloping ridge coming up from the bottom of Padre Canyon to the top of Red Mountain, nope. This was a beast. I decided to call it 'The Spine Tickler'. I think the name fits. The ridge is a jagged spine with knife edge spots as well as exposed spots, there are some climbing sections on this route that are probably a 5.4 or so.
It's a long one too, my body felt like it hit at least eight miles...maybe ten. All in all, I would certainly do over. Awesome trip!
