Running from Ogden to Provo, Utah the UTA Frontrunner provides commuter rail service to the four counties around Salt Lake City. Along the 88 mile route the trains serve a total of 14 stations located in Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah Counties. The trains operate with a mix of bombardier equipment and ex-NJT comet cars as well as MPI MP36PH-3C locomotives. Traveling through very diverse landscapes along the 88 mile line, mountains and open land can be seen in the south, and tight neighborhoods in the north with downtown Salt Lake City right in the middle, this train has it all.
