Merlions Collection Completed! 🇸🇬 Finally manage to collect all three Merlion silver bars minted by PAMP Suisse for the Singapore Mint for exclusive sale by the latter. I have only seen these high premium proof bars in Singapore and ever since I scored the beautiful Golden Merlion (gold gilded silver), I have been on the hunt for the earlier two releases.

I managed to buy the second Radiant Merlion (hologram silver) a couple of years ago when they became available at the Mint but the first Majestic SG50 Merlion (swarovski crystal silver) have been a difficult proposition. While there were several listed on the secondary market, the premiums on them have been ridiculous and really too much for what was essentially an ounce of silver.

However I recently visited Fangzheng Trading, one of my favourite coin store here in Singapore, and was pleasantly surprised to see one in their display case. They gave me a reasonable deal for it so I decided to bite the bullet and finally complete this unique set of three Merlion bars.
