Mystical primeval forests, free-living bears and exciting adventures in nature - the road trip through Romania offers a lot of unexpected challenges for Valentin Rahmel aka Sarazar and his two friends Benni and Max.

On their more than 1,000 km long tour from Maramures in the north to the capital Bucharest they experience the original Romania, visit the home of "Count Dracula" and plunge into the floods of a torrent. They capture their experiences in spectacular pictures.

Her journey takes her from Maramures through Transylvania and on the dream road Transfagarasan into the mountains. There they see bears living in the wild and discover mystical forests that suddenly emerge from the fog. Canyoning near Porumbacu brings action, and it gets a bit scary, not least when visiting Bran Castle. This is where the historical model for Bram Stoker's "Count Dracula" actually lived. The end of the trip: a hike to fascinating rock formations in the Carpathian Mountains and a visit to the Romanian capital Bucharest.
