Hey guys, this project took me WEEKS. Probably the longest I've ever spent on a project as I needed a lot of help. I learnt how to use a bunch of different power tools and a bunch of new techniques. I really hope you like them as much as I do. These locker legs and my general attempt at using a saw were inspired by Susie from @GirlAndADrill Recreated with her permission, thanks Susie! Check out her links below.
In this video, I'll show you how to turn orange pine bedside lockers into something modern and fabulous. I will be using a circular saw to cut off the outdated overhanging pieces, I'll show you what technique I used to achieve a raw wood look whilst sealing the wood so it doesn't turn orange in future. I'll show you how to create a herringbone pattern using only wooden paint stirrers! I'll also show you how to hide any imperfections using wooden moulding- because God knows my first project like this was never going to be perfect.
Stay tuned for videos on our new house, where I'm updating a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom.
