Appearing via video at #RDO2021, Mayor Jim Watson officially declared September 17, 2021 to be Recovery Day in Ottawa. The Mayor joined Recovery Day Ottawa to make the proclamation to a crowd excited to return in person to Ottawa City Hall for a day of celebration and hope with speakers from many great organizations including the Community Addictions Peer Support Association, the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction, EHN Canada, Le CAP, the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and over 70 Community Partners.
