It has been snowing in the UK and today I took a walk in the snow in this beautiful village in the Cotswold Water Park area. The snow has settled has has not yet melted but makes for beautiful scenery along this village walk.

The Thames runs along Ashton Keynes village and is still just discernible, flowing between these lakes, and it provides one of the best features of the village, running past the front gardens of many houses whose residents can only reach the road by means of attractive bridges.

Ashton Keynes in Wiltshire has the infant River Thames running beside the entire length of the main street and the houses on this street are all reached by crossing small footbridges.
