In this video, I would like to share with you my experience with 4 Chinese dialects (languages) that I have studied during the past few years, namely Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese (a dialect of Wu-Chinese), and Hokkien (a dialect of Min-Chinese). I will compare the levels of difficulty of these languages, according to my own experience with them, based on their vocabulary and pronunciation. I hope you find this helpful if you are looking to study a Chinese dialect other than standard Mandarin.
