In this workshop, you will learn how to add detail to your data in NVivo through creating and coding cases, and using classification sheets. These features allow you to incorporate subjects into your data, such as interview participants, or survey respondents.

By adding this detail to your project in NVivo, you then have the power to return insightful analysis later in your research, such as asking NVivo to compare responses based on different demographic attributes such as Age or Gender. Classification Sheets allow you to import existing data from Microsoft Excel to describe subjects in your data, or your files. This is the second of a five-part series of digital skills training in NVivo.
