Calling our community! Local people with life limiting and terminal illness need your help. Join St Wilfrid’s Hospice to make moments that matter for hundreds of local families who desperately need our support.

This 3rd and 4th of July please join in with our new online fundraiser ‘Make Double the Difference’. For just 35 hours (between Sunday 10.00am and Monday 9.00pm), donations will be doubled by our generous sponsors at no extra cost to you.

As a Hospice Hero, you’ll receive a link to your own online fundraising page. You know lots of people that we don’t, so we’re asking you to share your fundraising page link with as many of your friends, family, colleagues as possible and ask them to donate whatever they can during the 35 hour fundraiser, on 3rd and 4th July.

“St Wilfrid’s may have weathered the immediate threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, but our nurses, doctors and care teams are dealing with the aftermath of the biggest challenge we’ve ever seen.

Our expert clinical teams are supporting more patients in crisis, patients with complex treatment needs, and younger patients with terminal diagnoses. It’s feared that up to 50,000 people in the UK may have had missed cancer diagnoses alone during the pandemic. These far-reaching effects of COVID-19 will affect end of life care in our community for months and years to come.

Thank you for supporting your local community Hospice. We can’t do it without you!” - Alison Moorey, Chief Executive for St Wilfrid's Hospice
