IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, IT'S FINALLY HERE.
Prehistoric Planet has been my number 1 most anticipated show to come out this year, and I'm beyond happy to report it lives up to hype. I could gush about it all day, but for now I just want to talk about its music. I was expecting Hans Zimmer to have more involvement with the soundtrack, but after hearing what Bleeding Fingers bring to the table, hoo boy. I still prefer the Walking With Dinosaurs soundtrack overall, but there's loads of great stuff to be found here. I've been waiting on the edge of my seat waiting for it to drop on streaming services, and after a month my prayers have been answered. (It also released on the same day as Rise of the Monarch and Closure/Continuation, which is a plus!)
I plan on doing some more tracks from the OST in the future, especially that absolute banger of a Dreadnoughtus theme, but for now all I have is the main theme. It's seriously amazing, and perfectly conveys the majesty of prehistoric life, and I hope this cover did it justice.
