Mustard is a LGBTQ lesbian / bisexual short coming of age story that deals with how hard it can be to accept the changes, big and small, that life sometimes throws at you.

Subtitles: English (Portugese & Swedish is coming soon!)

Grace, a middle-aged recently divorced Chinese-Canadian, has worked at a bistro for over 20 years doing the same thing. She finds it hard to accept her boss' suggestion of changing her way of grinding mustard seeds, so to avoid this Grace accepts a compromise in training Beverly to help her increase the mustard output. Struggling to embrace the many changes in her life, Grace might have just found the one person to help her find peace with them.

This was my finals project at Vancouver Film School. It started out being over 10 pages long, with several locations, and 2-3 shooting days. Due to different school rules and some other lame things, we had to cut it down to about 7 pages, one location, and one shooting day. It was hectic as hell and completely bananas, but somehow we made it work.

Thanks so much to everyone who supported me in the making of this. Thank you to the fantastic cast, the crew (my amazing classmates), and to the people who contributed to our indiegogo campaign. Without any of you Mustard would never have happened.

A special thank you to my partner in crime, Evelina Saulo, who pitched me the idea of this story and also wrote it. You are the best friend and working partner I could ever wish for.
