The BBC have been forced to apologise after showing a replay of the incident that saw Barnabas Varga stretchered out of Hungary's 1-0 win over Scotland at Euro 2024 on Sunday night.

The 29-year-old was forced out of the clash after colliding with Angus Gunn, who was attempting to claim the ball in the group stage Euros game in Germany.

Varga spent several minutes down on the turf receiving treatment, with Hungary players visibly distressed.
