A passionate, driving piece combining two sacred texts linked together with a theme of ardent love. The opening is a declarative statement of faith and union with God in an exuberant mixed meter that settles into a second half of sublime harmonies and warm choral textures. The use of overtone singing and aligned harmonics is used to expand the tonal richness throughout the work.
