electric fencing is wonderful tool, that when used properly can help manage rotational grazing that has great benefits for both the soil and the animals. Unfortunately, temporary electric fencing is only a mental barrier, not an actual physical one. So if something is enticing enough....say a lush green garden....the cows can, and will, break through said fence to get what they want.
