This video shows how to do a hip scoot to put baby on the back for babywearing. The video first shows how to do a hip scoot with just the baby. Then it shows how to do a hip scoot with a woven wrap. The video goes slow enough that you can grab a doll or stuffed animal and follow along to learn the motions. When you've got it down, try it with your baby over a soft surface such as a bed or with someone spotting your. Once you can put your baby on your back and take them down, you're ready to learn your first carry!
