In the case of the Chandigarh Mayoral election result, the Supreme Court has ruled in favour of the AAP candidate, Kuldeep Kumar. The court found that the returning officer, Anil Masih, intentionally defaced 8 ballot papers that were in favour of the AAP candidate. As a result, the apex court declared the mayor election results unlawful and declared the AAP candidate as the mayor of the Chandigarh municipal corporation.
