Janome makes it incredibly easy to adjust the tension for each individual stitch, without messing it up for other stitches or techniques on the following models: 15000, 14000, 9450, 9400, 12000, and the S9.

Don't fear messing around with the tension on these machines! Most of the time, the automatic tension is great, but with specialty threads or free motion quilting you might want to fine tune it and it's super easy on these models.
