In this part 12 Off Grid Cabin Build segment, we get all the insulation installed in the walls and ceiling, finished the landscape steps into the cabin for erosion prevention and safety coming down hill to the cabin, and Rick gets the chimney pass through installed with ceramic fireproof insulation and metal HVAC tape and finally Rick cuts our 4x4 railing to 4 foot and installs a decorative cap on top. The cabin if is fully dried in and the exterior is complete and good timing too as we just had a heavy rains. It is great that all exterior work is complete as fall is a week away and in the North 40 the weather, mainly rain and cooler temps are already here. Now we will work on the interior tongue and groove wall boards and spruce floor boards, then its time to trim it our and decorate. We have a lot of exciting content to share with our selected items for the inside of the cabin as well as our off grid solar power system we will show as well. Thanks for joining us for this building, woodworking carpentry project. We are so happy to show this homesteading, off grid, tiny house cabin build in the Rocky Mountains. Keep watching as we show the rest of the final process of finishing the cabin.
