The first part of our Daz to Blender Workflow is using Facegen Artist Pro 4 to make custom faces for our Daz Studio characters. We will use FaceGen Artist Pro to create a face shape and texture based on photographs of a real person.

This video will describe the types of pictures required in FaceGen. How to place the markers on the pictures for FaceGen to track and generate a new face. We will review some of the options available for modifying the generated face. We will then go over how to export the face shape and textures from FaceGen Artist Pro 4 to Daz Studio 4.21. In the specific case of the video, it will be a Genesis 8.1 M character, but the workflow should work for any of the Genesis models.

NOTE: In this case, I may have needed to keep spherical eyes checked because I'm not pleased with how the eye geometry turned out. Results may vary.
