This was my submission for the 3D render challenge hosted by Pwnisher. All assets except the initially provided mocap data were created from scratch for this project in Blender.

In this scene the workers are cleaning up an alien planet from a giant parasitic egg that is growing by absorbing resources from the crest of the planet through its long tentacles. The best practice is to cut the feeding of the egg before it hatches, otherwise, the kaiju-like creature that comes out needs other more aggressive tactics to get "removed" from the planet.


The work conditions are not the best and life insurance is not a thing in this case. These robotic exoskeletons are built from cheap parts bought in second-hand markets and life-threatening accidents happen often.

The pay is "good" and the workers get to travel around the galaxy but the risks are not always worth taking.
